I always get a LOT of people asking me if doing a basic crunch is enough to get a six pack and toned abs. No it is not, unfortunately, wouldn’t that be easy! You need to eat healthy. Drink water [Keep Calm and Drink Water (; ]. Do cardio a few times a week. And use weights too, if you can. Exercise daily. Even if its a walk with the dog or 100 jumping jacks. It all adds up.
What is a crunch? A crunch is one of the most popular abdominal exercises. It works the Rectus abdominis muscle, which are the ‘6 pack muscles’.
Difference between a crunch and a sit up? When performing a crunch, the lower back stays on the floor.
Will Crunches make me lose weight? No. You need to do cardio to lose weight. If you’re trying to lose weight just stick to good/effective cardio - Treadmill, Cycling.. Whatever it is that you find fun.
