Excercise

Gym: 45 minutes. Indoor cycling is the BEST method to burn calories. 5 minutes on the bike will burn 50 calories, while 5 minutes of brisk walking only burns around ten. 

Walking: There is no need for a gym if you’re toned. I go fast, medium-pased etc and go with my best friends. Then stop off at the lake or the playground! Lol. Usually go for an hour and a half. Sometimes I do a late night walk, with my iPod, that turns into a walk-jog-run-walk-jog-run kind of thing.. As ya do eh? :)

Trampoline: My baby. Haha. Great for leg workouts. I’ve had two, got the new one last summer, it’s 20 foot and I could spend a day there.. Looking up in the sky when you’re lying down, then you get guilty and have to do leg excercises :P But I have to do it in the afternoon or night.

Warning: NEVER mix Trampoline excercising with jumping jacks or bike excercises. You can go on it after a walk, but don’t go a bike or do jumping jacks etc within at least 90 minutes. I’ve had too many knee injuries and I’ve heard it too many times. Just don’t do it. I did it a few months ago when I was bored.. I couldn’t walk for three days. I had cramps in both of my calves. Worst pain ever. Just don’t do it!

Now get to it, go bouncing.

Keep Calm And Drink Water.

Water is a SAINT

My skin was always beautiful. I loved it. But over the past few months, I’ve dealt with a lot of shit. I loved college at the start, now.. Not so much. An old friend spread rumors and I’ve an ex in the class and blah blah blah. My skin just broke out. It got so bloody bad.

On Monday, FOUR DAYS AGO, I started drinking water properly. I have five or six glasses of water a day. My skin….. The difference is unreal. My skin is healthy now again. I love my skin, it’s amazeballs. Not trying to be vain. My skin, height 5 foot nine and nose are the only things I like. Water also makes you less hungry, drink it before a meal. Half a glass maybe and half a glass during. 

If you hate water:

  1. Add a dash of lemon or another fruit.
  2. Add something like MiWadi or Ribena. Lot’s of sugar, but its better than none.

Water is better than milk. Look up how many calories milk has.

Oh and the college thing.. Fuck them all who try to bring me down. I will be number one in that class :P

It’s all about the small changes.

1) I go to the gym for at least 60 minutes, 3/4 times a week. This week it will be 5/6 times a week. The gym is only a five minute walk from my house, but I make that walk three minutes what walking very fast !

2) Whenever I turn on the TV, I watch FITNESS TV. I’ve recorded some great stuff on my Sky + HD Box ! The Big Workout with Elise and Scott is fantastic. I use these shows before the gym from around 11 to 11.30 and again at around 4.

3) After dinner I always head straight to my laptop. I now go up, spend ten minutes on it then abuse my trampoline! Trampoline’s can burn up to 350 calories in an hour. I use my trampoline for around 15/20 minutes and again at night time for 40-60 minutes. I love it.. Just pop on your iPod, you’re in a different world.

4) SLEEPING PATTERNS. I used to go to bed at around 3 or 4 am. Now I go at 1 or 1.30 and the difference is great. I have way more energy and I get up at 10 or 10.30 am!

Proper GOOD news: Cystic Fibrosis Breakthrough from Ireland!

A major breakthrough in the treatment of cystic fibrosis has been announced by an international research team, led by scientists at Queen’s University Belfast.

The results of trials of a new drug show it produces a significant improvement in lung function, reduces disease flare-ups and improves quality of life.

A licence for the drug, called VX-770, will be sought in the autumn………

Gym: Precor USA Indoor Bike - 65 minutes - 460 cals.

Calisthenics: 12 minutes Hardcore - 75 cals

Walking: 35 minutes - Around 200 cals.

Now it’s bloody raining! Typical Irish SUMMER. Bleh. Gym’s closed in 20 minutes so not going down there..

Right.. Fitness TV Dance Class and more classes..

Then I’m watching The Departed on my blu ray 3D projector ! :D

Just lost 805 calories, like a boss.

Precor Indoor Bike at the maximam level of 10 for 65 minutes: 460 calories

Precor Indoor Bike at level 8/9 for 25 minutes: 165 calories

Trampoline for 35 minutes: 180 calories.

One.More.Pound.

And I’m at my first goal :D

Starting Weight: 15 stone and two pounds [212 pounds]

Goal Weight One: 13 and a half stone [189 pounds]

Deficit: 23 pounds

Current weight: 190 pounds.

HOW THE FUCK do you start running?

I know I can run fast cause I run sometimes with my friends in the park. I’m chubby but have always been very fast. I don’t want to run on a treadmill whilst in the gym cause I prefer the open air for walking/running..!

Any tips to get started?! :)
