Weight Loss Motivation Tip

Ok everyone on Tumblr seems to measure weight in pounds.. Majority seems to be Americans.

Tip; In Ireland, if you’re weight yourself, you don’t just say “Oh I’m 180 pounds!”, you measure by STONE.

One stone = 14 pounds.

So if you’re 180 pounds = 12 stone and 8 pounds.

This motivates people a LOT more. Now the person will only have 1 pound to loose to get to the half mark. And 8 pounds to loose to get to 12 stone!

And 12.8 sounds a lot better than 180.

Think smart when loosing weight! :P

Excercise

Gym: 45 minutes. Indoor cycling is the BEST method to burn calories. 5 minutes on the bike will burn 50 calories, while 5 minutes of brisk walking only burns around ten. 

Walking: There is no need for a gym if you’re toned. I go fast, medium-pased etc and go with my best friends. Then stop off at the lake or the playground! Lol. Usually go for an hour and a half. Sometimes I do a late night walk, with my iPod, that turns into a walk-jog-run-walk-jog-run kind of thing.. As ya do eh? :)

Trampoline: My baby. Haha. Great for leg workouts. I’ve had two, got the new one last summer, it’s 20 foot and I could spend a day there.. Looking up in the sky when you’re lying down, then you get guilty and have to do leg excercises :P But I have to do it in the afternoon or night.

Warning: NEVER mix Trampoline excercising with jumping jacks or bike excercises. You can go on it after a walk, but don’t go a bike or do jumping jacks etc within at least 90 minutes. I’ve had too many knee injuries and I’ve heard it too many times. Just don’t do it. I did it a few months ago when I was bored.. I couldn’t walk for three days. I had cramps in both of my calves. Worst pain ever. Just don’t do it!

Now get to it, go bouncing.

Trampoline: 60 minutes. - Burned 320 cals.

Gym: Precor USA Indoor Bike - 65 minutes - 460 cals.

Calisthenics: 12 minutes Hardcore - 75 cals

Walking: 35 minutes - Around 200 cals.

Now it’s bloody raining! Typical Irish SUMMER. Bleh. Gym’s closed in 20 minutes so not going down there..

Right.. Fitness TV Dance Class and more classes..

Then I’m watching The Departed on my blu ray 3D projector ! :D

Cravings..

My Dad just handed me my favourite ice-cream, an Iceburger!!

Gah. Broke it in half and ate one half and he had the rest :)

Ah well, better than a full on :)

Todays workout:

Precor Indoor Bike for 65mins - 514 calories.

Trampoline for 20 minutes. About to make that 60 minutes!

Two hours in the park of walking.

One.More.Pound.

And I’m at my first goal :D

Starting Weight: 15 stone and two pounds [212 pounds]

Goal Weight One: 13 and a half stone [189 pounds]

Deficit: 23 pounds

Current weight: 190 pounds.

IF ANYONE COULD MESSAGE ME MOTIVATION - PREFERABLY MEAN MOTIVATION I WOULD BE GRATEFUL.

Giving up fast food.

So I haven’t even fast food in around 6 weeks. Today my dad bought me two sausages. With batter. I used to love these. They have 500 calories each. I said I didn’t want them but he said they would go waste. So I ate them.

Four hours after eating them, I still feel sick to the stomach. And it’s not cause of guilt. I’m not used to greasy foods or batter anymore. I feel so ill, only drinking water and I’m going to have fruit tonight in the cinema!

But I’m kind of glad it happened, that way I’ll develop a fear of batter! :P

How do you get rid of a Carbs addiction?

Ok so, I can not live without Carbs.

I love; Pasta, Rice and Bread. 

I’ve switched to Whole Wheat Pasta and thats going great! But rice.. Which one should I eat?

And bread! I’ve switched to Whole wheat too :D But pita bread is my enemy. Is there whole wheat, healthy pita bread?! lol 

Donuts.

Oh holybejaysus!! My aunty brought home donuts from America, 450 CALORIES EACH. NONE FOR MOI LOL. In Ireland, no donut really goes over 250. Typical is 150 for a jam donut.. I love donuts but won’t be eating them in Florida next summer!!!

WHY does American food have at least 40% more caloires and a lot more food than Irish and English food?

Jillian Michaels inspires me like no one else. When I’m working out, on my trampoline etc, I can hear her shouting at me !

10 pounds in 6 weeks?

Is it even possible? And I don’t know how much I put on in London cause I got my period the morning after! Still have it now -_- For once it doesn’t hurt!! It says I’m 193, so I don’t know what I am :/

Anyway, I’m coming to that point where I’m like I can’t do this. Bleh. I don’t know if eating 1’200 and burning 400-800 is enough :/

Around thirty more pounds to go til my UGW.. But I want to take it slow. Like I want to reach it in Feb/March? 

But I don’t know how to take weight loss / a new lifestyle slowly :/
